1 Starting Line: 2 Finish Lines:
We are expecting 8,000-10,000 runners. In order to prevent waiting and congestion at the assembly lines, check in areas and the finish line, we have spread out the starting time of the 5 running events and created 2 finish lines. That way you can have a stress free run, focus on achieving your personal best and dash to the finish line.
STARTING Line: 28th street:

The following races will end at FINISH Line No. 1 – 9th Avenue:
The Condura Skyway Marathon
The Condura Skyway Half Marathon
The Condura Negosys Ref 10km Challenge
The following races will end at FINISH Line No. 2– 28th Street:
The Condura Aircon Cool 5km Run
The Condura 3km Dolphin Run
We are expecting 8,000 – 10,000 runners. Congestion does not only happen at the finish line, it also happens along the route. Usually the 3km, 5km runners converge with the 10km, 21km runners causing traffic. To prevent this from happening, we separated the run into 2 zones as follows.
Zone 1: 42km, 21km and 10km will go out into the Kalayaan Fly Over and Buendia
Zone 2: 3km and 5km will stay inside Global City
These 2 zones are separate and will never converge. Aside from safety considerations, there will be no need for faster runners to dodge or overtake slower runners/walkers therefore saving precious energy.
We are instituting an elite check in system so that faster runners can run in front of the starting coral and slower runners and walkers can stay at the back. This is in order to help elite runners hit their target time as well as for safety purposes.
Elite runners shall be determined based on their expected finishing time that is indicated in the registration form. Please be as realistic as possible with your assessment of your expected finishing time as a courtesy to elite runners.
The following expected finish times shall quality for Elite Check in:

Regular registrants shall get a necklace in their race kits indicating that they are elite runners. Wear this necklace on race day and go to the front of the line and look for the elite check-in counter.
Late registrants shall not be able to avail of elite check in services. So register early!

Why is there no Singlet for the Condura Run
The dream is for the Condura Run to have imported singlets of high quality material. However this cost a lot of money that runners may not be willing to pay in the form of higher race fees. Besides singlets are used during the run only. We wanted a shirt that you would be proud to use all the time (while not look like a walking billboard). That is how the Condura collectible shirt came about.

In the early stages of planning we were considering a marathon relay. This however will take a lot of technical planning and logistical support that will draw away focus from the full marathon, Since this is our first full marathon, we want to make sure that we focus all our time effort in coming up with a perfect marathon race. Safety is our primary concern. Perhaps in the future we will have a marathon relay but not for 2010.

How does the Condura Run fees compare with other races
After looking at the long list of FAQ, one can conclude that it takes a lot of effort to organize 5 races and an expo spread out over 4 days. Organizing a world-class event quite bluntly takes a lot of money. It is financially challenging to organize an international caliber event when sponsors money is limited and making the run affordable for our runners.
Donations to the beneficiary, 6 registration centers, souvenir shirts, personalized bibs, finishers medals, 2 finish lines, marching bands, cheering zones, photographers, videographers, water stations, prizes, permits, portalets, signs, ambulances, medical tents, traffic marshals, lights, sounds, stage, hosts, web site and all the expenses needed to support 8,000 – 10,000 runners ad infinitum all cost several million pesos.
The Condura Run cost more than local races but you get more. It is easy for Condura to charge much less. All we have to do is cross out a lot of things off our list. But then we would not be true to our vision of being the Premier Running Event of the Philippines.
We believe that sticking to our vision is the best way for our runners and sponsors to get the most value for their money.
